I’m a Pakistani down to the core, born on 16-August-1964. Educated to be an Electrical Engineer (class of 1985), I'm anything but that today. I started my professional career in the family business called Emzed Engineering which has been involved in electrical equipment since before I was born, but that was not me. I had to try something on my own, and thus I got onto the I.T. bandwagon in 1996. I had to become a DIY programmer and did actually write a lot of code in the early years. However, nature did some “prodding” in 2006, and steered me towards the rapidly evolving media industry, with which I have been associated ever since.
I’m a strong believer that nature chooses few to educate and elevate in life, and if you’re one of the lucky ones then you must do more than you could have done if it hadn’t been you. I also believe in signs. I believe nature has many options, and you’re just one of them. If she wants to give you a chance, she will show you the signs and prod you in a certain direction. This prodding comes with discomfort, pain, and misery. It comes at the price of having to leave your comfort zone. Growth and progress comes to those who see the signs, react to the prodding, and are willing to expand their comfort zones. If you don’t, then nature always has other choices, like the say, opportunity knocks once.
Life has to be more than just getting married, reproduce, and earn a living. The line “What man is a man that doesn’t change for the better the world he lives in?” from the movie Kingdom of Heaven (said by Balian of Ibelin), is the core of my life philosophy. This pursuit of change has kept me involved in many things including, Jaycees, Mensa, Loose Ends Pakistan, and now “People’s Action Movement” and “One Pakistan One Nation”.
I'm presently involved in a few private businesses, am a professional speaker, and do TV shows spread over 6 days of live transmission. Various links around this website will give you in-depth information on various aspects of my life.
Thank you very much for visiting my site.
